Welcome to LIFE Mart (“the Platform”), operated by Lorekom International Ltd.
By using our website, www.lifemart.lorekominternational.com, you agree to these
Terms and Conditions.
1. Definitions
- “LIFE Mart” / “We” / “Us” – Lorekom International Ltd, operator of the LIFE
Mart marketplace.
- “Seller” – Any vendor listing products for sale on LIFE Mart.
- “Buyer” – Any customer purchasing goods via LIFE Mart.
- “Self-Delivery” – Delivery handled directly by the seller.
- “LIFE Mart Delivery” – Delivery facilitated via PAXI, Aramex, or LIFE Mart
outlets.
2. Use of Platform
- Users must be 18 years or older.
- Accounts must contain accurate and truthful information.
- LIFE Mart may suspend or terminate accounts that breach policies.
3. Marketplace Role
- LIFE Mart acts as an intermediary platform between buyers and sellers.
- LIFE Mart is not the manufacturer or direct seller (except for LIFE
Mart-owned brands).
- Responsibility for product quality, description accuracy, and self-delivery
rests with sellers.
4. Orders & Payments
- Payments are processed securely via [Payment Gateway Name].
- LIFE Mart may hold payments in escrow until delivery confirmation.
- Orders are binding once confirmed.
5. Delivery
- Buyers may choose between Self-Delivery, LIFE Mart Delivery (PAXI, Aramex),
or Outlet Collection.
- Delivery terms are governed by the Delivery Policy.
6. Returns & Refunds
- Governed by the Returns & Refunds Policy in line with the Consumer
Protection Act, 2008 (South Africa).
7. Prohibited Use
Users may not:
- Sell prohibited/restricted items (see Prohibited Items Policy).
- Misuse data, spam, or engage in fraud.
- Infringe third-party rights or intellectual property.
8. Limitation of Liability
- LIFE Mart is not liable for seller misconduct, product defects, or
self-delivery failures.
- LIFE Mart is only liable where gross negligence is proven under South African
law.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
10. Dispute Resolution
Disputes are handled first through LIFE Mart Support, then arbitration under
South African law.
